This package has been composed by Spiru in order to smudge. Smudging is the energetically cleansing of spaces and people. It is believed that this creates peace and harmony. In these cases the package is used:

• Negative, uncomfortable or anxious feelings
• Feeling that you are not alone
• not sleeping well or nightmares
• a lot of arguments or other negative events at home
• new (temporary) living space

Abalone Shell

The Abalone Shell represents the element water, which is one of the elements that should be present while smudging. The shell is the casing of the Abalone Sea Slug and is found in New-Zealand. Because of the natural air holes, this shell is exceptionally suitable to be used as a saucer during smudging. In order to avoid overheating and burning of the pearl, you put a layer of sand in the shell.

White Sage Smudge Stick

Smudge sticks are loose sage leaves that are bound together with a rope to form a stick. White sage leaves are from the Salvia Apiana tree, which can be found in the northwest of Mexico and in California. White sage has been used for centuries during smoke ceremonies and other rituals. These days, the herb is specially cultivated for cleansing rituals.

Palo Santo

The Palo Santo wood comes from the Bursera Graveolens tree from South America. It is also called ‘cleansing wood’ or ‘Holy Wood’. The slowly smoldering wood is known for its positive and cleansing effects. Additionally, it is believed that the sweet, soft scent is relaxing.

Using the ‘Cleanse Your House’ Package

During a smudge ceremony, white sage is used to expel negative energies. However, it is believed that the Palo Santo wood is used to fill an energy field or space with positive energy. This is how you use it:

1. Firstly, use the white sage to clean your own energy field, from your feet to your crown.
2. Next, walk through the space or the house with the Abalone Shell and the Smudge Stick in one hand, while you spread the smoke (with a feather) with the other hand. Start upstairs in the house and work your way further downstairs.
3. Do the same with the Palo Santo sticks to fill the energetic space that you just cleansed with positive energy.
4. End with yourself, and thank the angels/guides for their help to finish the process.
5. Repeat this process once every quarter of a year, unless it is necessary to do it earlier.
