This statue of the famous lucky Indian elephant god is detailed and beautifully crafted.
Ganesha (also called Ganesh or Ganapati Tantra) is in the pantheon of Hinduism, the deity with the elephant head. He is also important in Buddhism
He is the god of knowledge and wisdom, removes obstacles and is the patron saint of travelers. Hindus pray to Ganesha before starting something new, such as a new job or when moving house. Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati.
Because the making of these statues is a manual process, there may be some imperfections. You can think of smudges or colors that are just not 100% opaque.
