Buy Wicca Symbols Stones Agate Black (Set of 6)

Through the centuries, Wicca practitioners and Witches (also known as Pagans) have always used symbols for many things, such as rituals, enchantments, ceremonies and in daily life. There are many different symbols, with many different meanings and contents, each symbol has a fundamental meaning, but they also mean several other things and represent different feelings and effects for different people. Below are the fundamental meanings. Meaning of the six symbolen The five-pointed star within a circle is the most commonly used ‘Pagan’ symbol, and is used to identify oneself as a Pagan or Wicca practitioner. The five points represent the four elements plus the ether, where the circle connects them all. A five-pointed star without a circle is also called a pentagram, not a pentacle. In numerology, the five points represent the earth element and can be used as an earth symbol on an altar. The triple moon is a goddess symbol that represents the Virgin, Mother and Crown as the waxing, full and waning moon. It is also associated with feminine energy, mystery and psychic abilities. You often see this symbol on the main files, especially those worn by the high priestess. Traditionally, the Ankh symbolises ‘eternal life’. This symbol is a hieroglyph that frequently appears on sculpture from ancient Egypt, often held in the hand by gods and pharaohs, as a sign of the rule over life, i.e. immortality. In these images, the symbol is held by the ‘stem’, not at the base. The Ankh is a popular symbol among the Pagans, and this could be due to its resemblance to a Christian cross, which makes the Ankh look less shocking than, for example, the pentagram. There are many variants of the Triskele (three-armed / bony symbol or spiral). The one used here is very simple as the primary form of the symbol. The triskele is a Celtic symbol and stands for the power of life and rebirth. It combines the spiral (often used to represent the cycle of life and through) and the 3 as a sacred number, as we see in the phases of the triple goddess. This symbol is also called a triskelion. In spiritual terms, the Spiral can represent the path that leads from the unconscious (materialism, outward orientation, ego) to the inward orientation (enlightenment, the essence, Nirvana, cosmic consciousness). The movement between the inner (intuition, the immaterial, the elusive) world and the outer (matter, the manifested) world is represented by the spiralling archetypal rings; the evolution of mankind, both on an individual and collective scale. Moreover, in the light of rebirth or growth, the symbol can also represent the consciousness of nature itself, starting with
