Mala of 108 scented Palo Santo beads, including the Guru bead. With a knot in the cord between each bead.
Made of sustainably grown Palo Santo from Peru (SERFOR certified).
A mala is originally a prayer chain from Hinduism and Buddhism and is used in meditation to count mantras. A mantra is a collection of words, often from Sanskrit, which is repeated several times – traditionally 108 times. Here, you focus your attention on the meaning and vibration of the words, possibly combined with the accompanying visualizations. By training yourself in a meditation exercise like this, thoughts come to rest and your body starts to relax. Nowadays a mala is also worn as an accessory.
The indigenous people of the Andes have used Palo Santo for centuries to purify negative energy. When the wood is burnt, negative energy is purified, peace and tranquility are restored and the connection with mother earth is strengthened. According to tradition, Palo Santo has a natural effect on pain, stress and relaxation. Palo Santo has a pleasantly refreshing and uplifting fragrance. The scent of Palo Santo can help to brighten your aura and/or promote positive feelings and joy.
This Palo Santo comes from forests that are managed, authorized and certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (SERFOR) in Peru. Only Palo Santo trees and branches that have fallen naturally and remained on the land for at least 3 to 4 years are used. This way of harvesting does not harm nature and only the wood with a rich aroma is used.
