Ganesha (also called Ganesh or Ganapati Tantra) is the elephant-headed deity in the pantheon of Hinduism, as well as in Buddhism. He is the god of knowledge and wisdom, removes obstacles and is the patron deity of travelers. Many Hindus pray to Ganesha before starting something new, such as a new job or when moving house. Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati.
NOTE: Not heat resistant, so use a fireproof surface when burning a candle or incense on it.
