Ankh pendant with small gemstones. The pendant measures 4 by 3 cm.
The Ankh is a key that represents the shape of the human body, and thus carries the blueprint of a whole and healthy body. It provides the connection between the material of the cross and the spiritual of the circle. The eye of the Ankh represents a head, with the arms horizontally and the legs vertically below it. It is a symmetrical figure, which, among other things, depicts the cross-control of the two halves of the body by the two cerebral hemispheres.
What are Chakras?
Chakra is Sanskrit for “wheel” and means wheel of energy. They are the energy centers in your body. Most traditions identify seven chakras. Sometimes eight or nine are also spoken of. Together the chakras form a system. This means that they affect each other and work together. Each chakra in us has specific properties and functions. In fact, the chakras are considered to be different types of consciousness.
They represent the different areas in your life. For example, the first chakra is linked to survival and the second to creativity. The third chakra is your self-esteem and the fourth is associated with love. Chakra five is your communication, six gives you insights and the seventh connects you to higher powers. Chakras can be felt in your body and read based on your behavior. To influence or to get to know chakras, special colors, symbols and gemstones are often used.
