Palo Santo elastic bracelet with huayruro seeds, made from sustainably harvested Palo Santo. These naturally colorful seeds have been known since the Inca era as a bringer of happiness and prosperity. Handmade, with an eye for the welfare of the artisans and nature.
Huayruro seeds are the seeds of the Ormosia coccinea, a species of plant in the butterfly flower family that is common in Peru. Huayruro means something like ‘lucky berry’. The lucky berry grows in a bean-like shell. In the rainy season, due to the alternation of rain and sun, the seeds jump open and fall to the ground. The seeds have been collected for generations to make jewelry. The attraction of the berry comes not only from its beautiful red color, but also from the power that these seeds are said to possess. They are said to bring happiness and prosperity, and to ward off negative energies and evil spirits.
The indigenous people of the Andes have used Palo Santo for centuries to purify negative energy. When the wood is burnt, negative energy is purified, peace and tranquility are restored and the connection with mother earth is restored. According to tradition, Palo Santo has a natural effect on pain, stress and relaxation. Palo Santo has a pleasantly refreshing and uplifting fragrance. The scent of Palo Santo can help to brighten your aura and/or promote positive feelings and joy.
This Palo Santo comes from forests that are managed, authorized and certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (SERFOR) in Peru. Only Palo Santo trees and branches that have fallen naturally and remained on the land for at least 3 to 4 years are used. This way of harvesting does not harm nature and only the wood with a rich aroma is used.
Attention: Not suitable for children and do not put in the mouth, the seeds are poisonous if you eat them!
