Copper tamba bottles have been made and used in India for over 200 years. According to ancient Indian Ayurveda, drinking water from a copper fles helps to balance the three energies circulating through the human body, the Doshas (Vata air element, Kapha water element and Pitta fire element). These bottles are only suitable for water. Not for milk, citrus and acidic liquids.

Copper discolours over time due to oxidation. The material may also show ‘stains’. The bottles are made of pure copper (99.6%). The outer layer is lightly lacquered and the cap contains a rubber edge so that the bottle does not leak (0.4%). The inside is 100% copper.
