More than 80 percent are women, so they earn a stable income, which makes them more independent. By cooperating with local communities, they give them a chance to grow.

The producer considers it important to work as transparently as possible and tries to avoid the use of chemicals as much as possible. In this way, they try to contribute to the  protection of the environment. The space in which they work is also very clean.

The Capiz Shell is a flat oyster-like shell, which is found in large quantities in the waters around the Indonesian islands. The shell is flat and fairly round. In Spanish colonial times, they were mainly used for windows in houses because of their translucent character. Now they are widely used in decorative products
