Cedar red (Juniperus virginiana). Element of earth – centre of gravity of feeling. A very powerful tree that originates in North America and reaches a height of 32 meters, with a diameter of 1½ meters. A beloved incense of the Indians; it would connect the elements, promote a harmonious, sensual mood and bring happiness. Incense rituals with cedar wood strengthen the soul, the core of our being, and the connection with the earth is strengthened. The psychological inner aspects should be in the foreground during an incense ritual. The protective, harmonizing force brings the mind to clarity and builds up our inner strength. Suitable for burning on charcoal and the special sieve-smoke burners that are sold separately. The combustion process on these sieve burners is somewhat slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties if you take a larger sieve burner. Also available are a matching pair of pliers to safely light the charcoal, a pliers to tackle the sieve, a steel brush to clean the sieve and a pheasant feather to spread the scent. A separate sieve of 125 mm incense fits perfectly on an oil evaporator when the receptacle is removed.
