Buy Tingshas To Mani Pad Me Hum (290 grams)

Tingshas (ding-shas) are hand-cimbals and originally come from Tibet. In Tibetan, the word tingsha means ‘hanging cymbal’. They are traditionally used as musical accompaniment to spiritual actions. Think for example of services and prayer rituals, or meditation. Especially in Tibetan Buddhism and Hinduism you can find tingshas. Tingshas are also used for harmonising and cleaning energy, for example in Feng Shui or energetic medicine. Ornaments The two tingsha’s cymbals are usually decorated at the top with figures and signs. This tingsha is decorated with the mantra Om Mani Pad Me Hum. Composition The tingsha’s cymbals are made of various metals, a so-called alloy. The most common alloy is bronze: a combination of copper, tin and small amounts of nickel. Each disc of this tingsha is cast separately and then voted by hand. Store Keep this tingsha best in a specially designed case. It is made of brocade and has two compartments. You can also wrap it in a cloth or scarf. Om Mani Padme Hum (OMPMH ) is the best known and most widely used Buddhist mantra. Anyone who feels inspired can use this mantra. So it does not require the dedication of a master. Cancelling or singing this mantra brings you to rest. Then you come back to yourself. Literally Om Mani Padme Hum means: ‘I honour the pearl in the lotus’. The mantra is addressed to the bodhisatva Avalokitesvara, who is asked for advice and comfort. This is also the owner of the jewel (wisdom) in the lotus. Avalokiteshvara is a Buddha, who often reveals himself as a saint. The Buddha symbolizes a great power of compassion. Without distinction or partiality, this Buddha is given to all sentient beings. Spiritual instruments at Spiru Spiru offers a wide range of spiritual instruments.
