Bone China porcelain. The raw materials used for china clay kaolin, feldspar and quartz are mixed with a minimum of 35% bone ash. This creates the strongest porcelain possible and gives it a specific ivory-coloured appearance. Bone porcelain can be baked at a temperature of about 1250°C due to its composition.
