These ‘C G Tuners’ consist of two tuning forks, tuned in the scale of Pythagoras, also called the ‘normal’ scale, and they can be used on the whole body. They show a special interval (distance between main tones), which in music and sound therapy is called the ‘Perfect Fifth’ (the perfect fifth). In India they believe that this quintessence creates a sound with which the god Shiva calls the goddess Shakti for the ‘Dance of Life’. In polarity therapy, sound stands for the physical body in motion, and the flow of the subtle energy in that physical body. It is also thought that this is the sound with which the Greek sun god of music and healing, Apollo, plucked onto his holy winch. He did this to lure messengers to Delphi’s oracle in the form of dolphins. The Chinese philosopher Lao Tze called this interval the sound of universal harmony, which balances the forces of yin and yang. It is strongly recommended that in this amazing world of sound with the tuning forks always start with this set. This is due to the weights at the ends. * The tone continues to sound longer, but is softer and more diffuse. * They weigh more heavily. * They are shorter compared to the same tuning fork without weights. * They are excellent for pain relief, inhibiting inflammation and creating relaxation.* They are usually used directly on the body, or near the ears. * To strike them, just tap them gently against your palm, or use the Tuning fork Activator. * These tuning forks have round weights at both ends. * These tuning forks work more on a subtle level (refined or mysterious).* They have a less physical vibration, which resonates more subtly when the shaft is placed directly on the body. * The tone does not sound as long, but is more focused and concrete. * They weigh lighter. * They are longer compared to the same tuning fork with weights.* They are excellent for better mental and emotional balance, better health and promoting spiritual well-being, as well as for helping to create inner harmony and perfection. * These tuning forks are placed around the body, or close to the ears. * To gently hit them, you can either hit two tuning forks against each other, or hit them against the Tuning fork Activator. * These tuning forks have no weights, and the ends are straight.
