The Koshi Chime Ignis, named after the element fire, is a sound instrument of high purity. The red mark on the underside of the side of the gong is characteristic of this model. The Koshi Chime is based on the four elements earth, water, air, and fire, which are considered the foundations of our existence. Each of these elements produces a unique sound, with the Koshi Chime Ignis reflecting the sound of fire. The instrument can be used in various ways, such as hanging it as a wind chime or holding and playing it by hand. The soundbox of the Koshi Chime is made from bamboo veneer, which is cross-laminated for extra strength. The metal rods responsible for the sounds are attached with silver solder to a metal ring at the bottom of the Chime. These rods are carefully tuned to produce the correct tone. There are four different Koshi Chimes, each named after one of the four elements. Although each type has its own unique sound, all Ignis (Fire) Chimes sound identical. With dimensions of 6.5x20x15 centimeters and a weight of 250 grams, the Koshi Chime Ignis is a compact and lightweight sound instrument.
