juniper berries Himalaya (Juniperus macropoda). Element of fire – centre of gravity of spirit. Grows to an altitude of 4,000 meters in the Himalayan Mountains and therefore has a very intensive, characteristic scent. The people in these areas use the incense for protection and cleaning of the home. It expels unpleasant odours, mosquitoes and insects. The incense is called ‘Food of the Gods’ and has a special meaning in shamanic rituals, where it is used, among other things, to expel spirits and awaken transitions. Suitable for burning on charcoal and on the special sieve-wave burners that are available separately. The combustion process on these sieve burners is somewhat slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties if you take a larger sieve burner. Also available are a matching pair of pliers to safely light the charcoal, a pliers to tackle the sieve, a steel brush to clean the sieve and a pheasant feather to spread the scent. A separate sieve of 125 mm incense fits perfectly on an oil evaporator when the receptacle is removed.
