Asa Foetida – Asant – Devil’s Drek (Ferula asa futida). Element of earth – centre of gravity of spirit. Growing in Afghanistan and Iran, but also in Tibet. Smoked as an exotic ritual incense by the Bön Shamans as ‘Keeper of the wind of life’. As the popular name suggests, it is ideally suited for the casting out of demons, spirits and negative entities. An extreme incense fragrance with a strongly ontkrampende and nerve calming effect. Can be added in very small quantities to incense mixtures for love rituals. Suitable for burning on charcoal and on the special sieve-smoke burners that are sold separately. The combustion process on these sieve burners is somewhat slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties if you take a larger sieve burner. Also available are a matching pair of pliers to safely light the charcoal, a pliers to tackle the sieve, a steel brush to clean the sieve and a pheasant feather to spread the scent. A separate sieve of 125 mm fits perfectly on an oil evaporator when the receptacle is removed word
