This handmade singing bowl is a unique piece of art with its own specific sound. It is made of bronze, an alloy of copper and tin, enriched with traces of eight precious metals. The singing bowl is hammered in a classic Chö-pa style and has a diameter of approximately 30 cm. The singing bowl weighs between 2600 and 2850 grams, which contributes to the depth and resonance of its sound. The singing bowl is the result of a careful, fully manual process. The metal is first melted and then cast into a mold. Discs of various diameters and thicknesses are then cut out, which are subsequently hammered by hand to the desired shape and size. This process requires precise measurement and weight classification. Hammering can only take place when the metal is red-hot, to prevent brittleness and cracking. After hammering, each bowl is finely finished, sanded, and polished for a smooth, shiny finish. This singing bowl can be delivered with or without engraving on the upper rim. Each bowl is unique and may vary slightly in shape and size. The mentioned diameter is intended as an initial indication of the bowl’s diameter. The unique character and craftsmanship make this singing bowl a special item for any singing bowl enthusiast.
