The Ishana singing bowl is a beautifully handcrafted artwork. The outside of the bowl is matte black, except for the upper rim, while the inside has a gold-colored hue. The singing bowl is made from a mix of copper, tin, and 8 noble metals, including silver, nickel, cadmium, ruthenium, palladium, platinum, chromium, and manganese. This singing bowl is meticulously hammered into shape by skilled craftsmen. This process involves several stages to achieve the correct shape and a pure tone. The metal is first melted in a furnace, then cast into a mold and cut into discs of various diameters and thicknesses. These discs are then hand-hammered into the desired shape and size. After the hammering process, the fine finishing process begins. At this stage, each bowl gets its own unique shape and size. The bowls are carefully sanded and polished, both inside and out, and possibly chiseled for the finishing touch. The Ishana singing bowl is not only a beautiful decorative object but also produces a pure, soothing sound. It is a unique item that combines craftsmanship and aesthetics. Note: the mentioned diameter is intended as an initial indication of the bowl’s diameter.
