This beautiful colorful wind mobile has 7 strands each with 7 different, colored rounds of shells. Gives a soothing sound in the wind. Colours: mixed red-orange-yellow-green-light blue-dark blue-violet. About Capiz shells: These are made from the outer layer of a sea mollusc, the scientific name of which is placuna placenta, also called the window oyster. The Philippine Capiz shells are so called because they were originally caught from the shallow coastal waters near the town of Capiz, on the island of Panay. Once cleaned, these shells are naturally transparent, and once painted, they give a particularly beautiful play of colour with a light inside.
