The Viking Wolf is one of the most interesting subjects in the Viking and Norwegian mythology.
Fenrir (or Fenrisulfr or Phoenix) is the (middle) son of the God of deception Loki and the female prince giant Angrboda.
He is the brother of Hel, the goddess of the underworld and Midgardsorm, the Midgaardslang. Fenrir was neither man nor god, but looked like a small dog when he was young and Odin took him to the Asgaard where the æsen, Odin’s followers, lived. He eventually developed into a giant wolf.
