The Inca Cross or Chakana Talisman

Inca mythology tells that the mathematical and geometrical Chakana symbol holds the key to what the Inca considered the Secret of Life. This symbol was of great significance to the Quechua people, among others. Traditionally, the Chakana (in Spanish: cruz cuadrada, four-sided cross) represents the Southern Cross that can be seen in the southern hemisphere sky. According to the ancient Andes people, this was a reflection of the center of the universe. It was easy to find by looking at night at the 4 glowing stars Alpha, Beta, Gama and Delta, which together form the Andean Cross.
Each star is a cardinal point and refers to a region: Chichansuyo-North, Kollasuyo-South, Kuntisuyo-East, Antisuyo-West, and symbolizes one of the elements water, earth, fire and air
As an aid to meditation, the Chakana promotes mental balance and a deeper understanding of and insight into the different levels of consciousness. The hole in the middle of the cross is said to be the gateway through which the consciousness of a shaman can enter the other dimensions of cosmic existence.

Only Palo Santo trees and branches that have fallen naturally and remained on the land for at least 3 to 4 years are used. This way of harvesting does not harm nature and only the wood with a rich aroma is used.
