The raw materials used for production come mainly from local farmers in Kerala and the rest of India, building on more than seven decades of well-established relationships with farmers. The company operates on a no-credit basis, which means that all farmers and suppliers of raw materials are paid immediately. The factory pays fair wages to its staff and fair prices to the farmers. Women’s enterpriseHoly Lama Naturals is recognised in Kerala as a government-approved enterprise for women, where more than 800 of the factory workers are women.
