This ‘cleanse your house’ package consists of:

Buy ‘Cleanse Your House’ Package (Large) at Spiru

This package contains more Palo Santo and White Sage than the ‘cleanse your house’ package (normal). It has been composed by Spiru for the fanatic smudger or to cleanse bigger (energetic) spaces. In these cases the package is used:

• Negative, uncomfortable or anxious feelings
• Feeling that you are not alone
• not sleeping well or nightmares
• a lot of arguments or other negative events at home
• new (temporary) living space

Abalone Shell

The Abalone Shell is from New-Zealand and represents the element water, which is why it is often used to catch the ash during smudging. Because of the natural air holes and the vastness of the shell, it is exceptionally suitable to be used as a saucer during smudge ceremonies. In order to avoid overheating and burning of the pearl, you can put a layer of sand in the shell; this allows you to hold the shell or put it down somewhere.

This is a natural product, which is why it may contain impurities and irregularities on the edge of the shell. Of course, this does not diminish the quality of the product; it contributes to the authentic character of it.

White Sage Smudge Stick

White sage leaves are from the Salvia Apiana tree, which can be found in the nature of  northwest Mexico and California. The leaves are harvested by hand and bound together with a rope to form a stick.The herb has been used for centuries in different shapes and colours during special ceremonies. These days, the herb is specially cultivated for cleansing rituals.

Palo Santo

The Palo Santo wood comes from the Bursera Graveolens tree from Peru. The wood smolders slowly and is also called ‘cleansing wood’ or ‘Holy Wood’ by its users. During smoldering, a sweet and soft scent arises which is believed to have a relaxing effect. Palo Santo is used to cleanse spaces and fill them up with positive energies. 

Using the ‘Cleanse Your House’ Package

During a smudge ceremony, white sage is used to expel negative energies. However, the Palo Santo wood is used to fill an energy field or space with positive energy. This is how you use it:

1. Firstly, use the white sage to clean your own energy field.
2. Put the smoldering white sage stick in the Abalone Shell. Walk through the space or the house with the Abalone Shell in one hand, while you spread the smoke (with a feather) with the other hand. Start upstairs in the house and work your way further downstairs.
3. Do the same with the Palo Santo sticks to fill the energetic space that you just cleansed with positive energy.
4. End with yourself, and thank the angels/guides for their help to finish the process.
5. Repeat this process once every quarter of a year, unless it is necessary to do it earlier.
